Extremely rare pair of stunning clear and black crystal table lamps. Solid round crystal balls have brass supports on which stand conical black glass shades complete with their own crystal pom-poms.
Flavio Poli (1900–1984), was one of Italy's most renowned glass designers of the 20th century. He developed a technique in glass-making which allowed him to incorporate various colours within one piece of glass. In 1934 he joined the famous Seguso Glass Manufacturers in Venice of which he eventually became artistic director until his retirement in 1963.
